Džena Džejmison izborila se sa zavisnošću od alkohola, u međuvremnu se porodila i imala popriličan višak kilograma - prema njenim rečima, u jednom trenutku je imala oko 85 kilograma.  

Ipak, ona je uspela da smrša 27 kilograma tako što se pridržavala keto dijete koja podrazumeva nizak unos ugljenih hidrata.

Let’s talk about fear. I think one aspect of fear that we all trip over is fear of failure. This was the major component in my procrastination on getting healthy after having Batel. I kept trying to convince myself I was ok with my “new” size. I wasn’t. It really was fear of failing. I was so afraid I couldn’t reach my goals like I was so accustomed to, I just told myself “why bother?”. I conquered sobriety, but that came with a whole set of new issues... actually FEELING my feelings. Raw, painful feelings. I ate. Then suddenly I was on big brother and people all said I “got fat”. UGH. Sobriety was more important to me, so I pushed forward and kept on track. We then decided to do ivf for Batelli. The cocktail of hormones pushed me up to 160. Then pregnancy. I hit 205 at 39.5 weeks. My head swam with joy and comfort. I expected the weight to fall off with breastfeeding. That would be a big NO. I dropped to 187 and stayed there. I ignored it and put every ounce into mothering my sweet girl. Well here we are, folks... Batelli is 17 months and I’m 123. I did it. "Hajde da pričamo o tome šta sam jela jer sam dobila dosta poruka u kojima me pitate šta jedem kako bih ostala u stanju ketoze", napisala je ona na Instagramu. "Ja sam jedna od onih čudnih ljudi kojima nije potrebna raznovrstnost. Svakog jutra jedem isti doručak - tri jaja sa sirom i avokadom".

Džena je rekla ono što sve žene misle

Džena je napisala da je ručak njen najobilniji obrok. "Uvek jedem salatu od rukole, grilovanu šparglu ili tikvice sa nekim mesom, često grilovanom piletinom".

Ona je istakla da gricka kad god je gladna, dodajući da obično jede bademe ili komad sira.

"Onda počinjem post u 18 časova. Pijem dosta vode do trenutka kada legnem na spavanje, oko 22 časa. Ujutru pijem kafu u osam sati i završavam post oko 11 sati, odnosno tada doručkujem. To je sve!", poručila je.

Džena Džejmison ima poruku za sve mame

Džejmison je istakla da ne postoji nikakav magični trik u njenom gubitku kilograma.

"Nema magije, nikakve fensi dijete... samo čista, cela, organska hrana. Pozdravila sam se sa svim obrađenim i gotovim namirnicama odavno. Skinula sam skoro 30 kilograma. Dakle, to je moguće uraditi!"

Let’s talk menu. I get a lot of messages asking me what I eat in a day to stay in ketosis. Well, it’s underwhelming. I am one of those odd people that doesn’t need variety. Every morning I eat the exact same thing. 3 eggs with cheese and an avocado. Lunch is my biggest meal, I always eat arugula salad, grilled asparagus or zucchini with some kind of meat (usually a hamburger patty or grilled chicken) I then snack when ever I feel hungry (usually on almonds or macadamia nuts... sometime cottage cheese) that’s it! Then I begin my fast at 6 pm. I drink lots of water until I go to sleep at around 10 pm. I drink coffee at 8 am and I end my fast at 11 am. That’s it! No magic, no fancy diet... just clean whole organic foods. I waved bye bye to anything processed or packaged a long time ago. This is 60 lbs gone my friend. It can be done! I’m always asked how I have the will power... well when you see results like this in 4 months, it powers you!!!! Mnogi obožavatelji su je na Instagramu pitali odakle joj volja za tako nešto. "Pa, kada vidiš ovakve rezultate za četiri meseca, to ti daje volju".

Džena nije pomenula šta jede za večeru ni da li uopšte večara, ali za one koji imaju večernji obrok, najbolji izbor su proteini, povrće i zdrave masti.
